this month has been hard for me. i have had some nice winning days (well above avg), but have had some big down days as well, which is not something I am used to. I think there is a lot of money out there to be made, but it becomes really hard if one loses discipline.

Does the fed have anything left to throw at the market? It just seems like this market has become a giant vacuum and it is bringing everything with it into the dark abyss.

agreed, to me it seems like they are hitting this market to get better prices for tomorrow.

my wife and I just bought a house and getting approved for the mortgage was a task. we both have good credit scores and put over 20% down, that was not the problem. the problem was coming up with all the documents that the lender requested. It seemed like everytime I fulfilled their request...

i too filed, but im not expecting too much out of it. i lost a good amount of money in that debacle.

how would they break trades on something like that? i got killed! would they say any trade between such and such time are cancelled? how could they cancel these trades?

what is the liquidity like for trading crude? it is so volatile. i cannot imagine there being too much on the bid or offer at any given time.

i thought the numbers were right around what they were expecting this morning. in other words, it was not a statistical decline.

why isn't crude getting crushed if hedge funds are unloading? i would have expected a broad sell off...

what happens if the numbers are not as bad as predicted? seems like they are really looking for dog poop numbers...

a lot of times a bad trade just happens. for example, something might work 9 out of 10 times, but it is that 10th time that gets you!

It is up over here...and so far it is not bad. It has gotten better throughout the morning/ afternoon.
