Talk about CONFIDENCE builder.... today was shaping up to be JUST like tuesday.. I got down to -$77 dollars at one point..... and I was getting really pissed, and got cautious, instead of reckless like tuesday... waited for a opening and grabbed on, road it for a 25 pt score... Now i'm up $50 on...

Whats sad is I keep shorting.... and its the little pullbacks that keep taking me out of my position right before it drops down and makes a new low......

Shades of tuesday all over again... now down -$29 on the day....... its like its all happening over again

picking up on the afternoon session now, grinding away up 133.... the thing is i'm WAY over trading.... sure i'm making my broker happy ;) The afternoon session is the one that seems to ALWAYS get me, I am normally up over 100 when it starts and then things get iffy.. must make a strong effort...

Just made another trade up $115 now... looking pretty good... the last trade I executed exactly the way I wanted, was only a 10 pt gain.. but I played it a lot calmer and better than my previous trades today...

up to +$63 now for the day..... Still trading too much and not letting my winners ride long enough.... I can do this!

Already made 2 trades and am up $21 dollars...... I am overtrading again, and NOT entering on my correct signals.. but still early and now that I realize I am doing it, I can be extra careful to make sure my next entry is a good solid one...

calling it a day, was up 211 a second ago, and entered a short at 11177, and it sat there a while and I started to doubt the position so I got out at 11177 and just took the comision loss... and NO sooner than did that it dropsdown to 11164.. oh well..... So ended the day up $207.... got to go...

Now up +$194 on the day. I have recouped half of yesterdays losses now.... still got a ways to go... but this is the highest I have been up in a while, so feels pretty good... cut that last trade too short more than likely again, but I am now holding for about 8-12 pts per trade generally and...

jimmy, Thanks for the advice... I basically stuck true to my rule about not trading through lunch and started trading around 12;30 central again. Made an initial bad trade and lost some.... but just finihsed a trade that went pretty well.. one of my longest winners I have had in a few days...

Took another little "scalp play" basically, up $97 now... all trades thus far have had perfectly good reasons... my exits on the other hand, sitll not using good reasoning behind the exits.. but I feel my entries are MUCH BETTER Still got a long ways to go, I would again like to thank...

Made a trade, and currently up $46... but boy did I get out wayyyy too early..... Had I held I woudl have cut yesterdays losses in half already...... Also, turned my bot on this morning, it has yet to make a trade...... very nervous running it live, may turn it off, may leave it on...

volente, A lot of my entries lately have been all because I was either bored, thought the market moved too far too fast, thought a new trend was starting, or just plain revenge trading. I do have some rather specific entry rules I use from time to time, but the MAJORITY of my trades lately...

thanks for all the comments, I deffinetly have a LOT of work to do.... I am leaning very heavily towards using my bot starting tomorrow to trade the ES and continue trading YM on my own. However, I need to come up with some clearly defined entry rules and do not take any trades not fitting into...

Scratch that 255 loss, now its a 400 loss..... I went nuts after the market closed............ I have had what I always get after a while, a HUGE FREAKING melt down......... once one or two things go bad I get out of controll and loose way too much.. I was already pissed by time I was down only...

boro, Currently only trading 1 contract at a time. But you are correct, I am cutting my winners short and letting my loosers ride..... one of my MANY bad habits.

loss 255 today....... Only averaging 100 a day, and loosing 255 in a day is NOT good........ RULE #1 needs to be DO NOT EVER take entries just for the hell of it, MUST have a reason, and no revenge trading..... almost EVERy entry for the last 2 hours has had NO basis as for as my trading...
