    Trump pardons war criminal

An anecdote for those who may doubt PTSD being real or not.... When I was in the military, I agreed to a deal they offered as to when they were going to let me out. Well, they reneged on the deal. Stuck a dagger through my then life plans and cost me my entry into medical school. Afterwards...

A WORLD OF DEBT! $69,000,000,000,000 & forever ever ever ever growing!

At some point, the Fed's cache will be all used up and they won't be able to "save" everybody (anybody?) That's likely when the SHTF.

There would be defaults on many fronts.

A WORLD OF DEBT! $69,000,000,000,000 & forever ever ever ever growing!

Debt always gets accounted for "by somebody". Governments have created/spent $Trillions they cannot repay (nor ever intended to). So... who "accounts for it all"? Most likely ALL OF US! Super high inflation, currency debasement. IOW... governments are in the process of STEALING EVERYONE'S...

"The Democrats Have The Country On A Slippery Slope", Paul Craig Roberts

"... If the American people are paying attention, the Democrats are in trouble. When Russiagate fizzled out on them, Adam Schiff (D,CA) orchestrated a fake “whistleblower” who the Democrats cannot risk putting on the stand to testify. The Democrats’ focus shifted to sleazy State Department types...

Jack Ma Warns Trade War Could Last 20 Years Amid Threats Globalization Has Peaked

Interesting also.... Now when there is a story/blip which could be a negative for the trade "theater", the markets basically just ignore it. But when there is any word of something positive (real or imagined), the markets jump. Fantastic job of psyche/market manipulation!

Jack Ma Warns Trade War Could Last 20 Years Amid Threats Globalization Has Peaked

DOW TO THE MOON!! I can see it now.... 20 years, every other day... "we're close to a deal". Gotta be nuts to short against that! :) https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/jack-ma-warns-trade-war-could-last-20-years-amid-threats-globalization-has-peaked

Restaurants remove dining rooms to speed off-site food frenzy

Yes, young people should budget and keep track of their spending. They'd likely be shocked to see how much they piss away for convenience in a year's time. I once knew a girl in Japan who kept track of every penny she spent. Told me one time, "I wash here-and-here every day (pointing to her...

LF someone with experience regarding high refresh rate monitors and trading

Seriously? I initially thought the OP was punking the board. Of all the variables and vagaries in trading, monitor refresh rate has to be the #1 least important.

“I Sell My Winners Too Early and Hold Losers.”

Famous quote from PTJ goes something like this... "Conventional wisdom is to avoid picking tops and bottoms. I've made 10 times more money picking tops and bottoms than I ever did trying not to".

“I Sell My Winners Too Early and Hold Losers.”

"Holding losers too long" is the bane of traders everywhere. Solution? Trade with stops. Duh!

    What is an "edge"?

"Front running" fits that definition.... but so does "paying attention, being analytical and disciplined". Being smarter and more disciplined than the next guy is not "edge" over the markets.

    What is an "edge"?

I could be wrong of course, but with Rentec making thousands of trades per day and winning virtually EVERY day.... and with some HFT players spending $Millions (maybe even a $Billion) to build facilities closer to the exchange to cut down latencies by a "ms or two" trying to "beat other HFTs to...

    What happened at 11:59 today?

Both sides getting a lot of "bang" out of jawboning trade. (Might have been their ploy all along... suck players into jumping at every crumb of news... real or false... ultimately spurring the markets higher. (?)

    What is an "edge"?

My view is that Rentec DOES have an edge... "front running"... which is illegal. But the regulators let them get away with it because (1) they add liquidity to the market, (2) they steal only a little bit on each trade, and (3) they are the right people. I have no proof and would not accuse...

    What is an "edge"?

Unfortunately beating competitors is not the name of the game in the markets. Traders need to win "over the markets"... and there are NO edges (legal) for that.
