    With any option position you accept the risk before you open it. That's how you manage it. IMO GOOGL has very strong support at $1000. Earnings in a few weeks, April 23. GOOGL back to the level it was before the strong earnings of October 2017. I think GOOGL will run up before earnings.

    The +1,-3,+2 setup is quite a bit different than a regular +1,-2,+1 fly. I guess that's where the short-delta at body comes into play.

    2 accounts with 2 different brokers. TD and BMO Investorline. Options trades on both. If one account is down for some reason I have access to the other.

    RE: April06 IBM 152.50 puts. IBM currently at 153.68 Stopped out early on Monday - one day after trade opened. Position has swung back to OTM. Of course anything can happen during the next two days.

    ironchef Could you use real quotes in your example? Any stock will be fine. Real quotes will be significantly different than the quotes you have provided. I hate trade examples that use terms like: "you probably collect", "will likely be worth"
