    ES Journal - 2019/2020

We're still in a potential pullback zone and it does not seem unlikely with another leg down towards 3500/3475 before finding a bottom. The other scenario is of course that we topped this Monday and will see similar action to early September with a major leg down on the daily which will not...

May I ask why you think there should be? I was anticipating a sell myself going into last week, but last Monday's strong Open and associated input data changed my conviction to the long side for that week. I also recall a lot of bearish sentiment on ET last Tuesday which coincided with last...

Some similarities to last week. Strong Open on Monday. Weak Tuesday. So far, we didn't dip below yesterday's LOD.

May I ask why you think so? I still view this is a pullback, but we can go all the way to 3470.

All dips are bought and all pops are sold. Tricky session so far unless you're scalping.

So, we all know that Trump is probably desperate to do what he can to lift the markets going into the election with whatever means he have at his disposal (Twitter, official comments, etc.). Equally, do you guys think it's possible that other parties will try to influence the market in a...

Nice and easy. NQ holding above unchanged now. Looks good for the long side still. :)

The key now is breaking above and staying above 3525. We rallied 210 points without much of a pullback - so pulling back a bit here ain't no big deal in the grand scheme of things. IHS in place now as long as the current LOD holds.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Not really. Today is one of those days where I don't have a very strong read either way, but I am anticipating a LOD for the day around 3495/3500 and a rally above the current HOD and possibly all the way to 3540 +++. The other scenario is that we'll actually see sustained selling below 3490...

NQ is struggling to stay green. Let's hope it turns around here. It's my view that this is a pullback before the next big leg up - either today or tomorrow. But these are special times and you never know. So, wear protection as @Buy1Sell2 . :)

How so? I'm anticipating that this gap down Open will give us a swing up to 3525 at least. Then it remains to be seen if we can pick up momentum and trade even higher. But I think it's wise to prepare for today as a consolidation and even a slight drop lower.

Stopped out B/E. Let's see if we can pull back a bit lower then. Note:My intraday model isn't very bullish for today as of now. It's a mixed bag. So maybe the ATH will have to wait a few days. Still leaning bullish, though, but with yesterday's monster day it's possible we'll take a breather...

Saved by dip buyers thrice, but still struggling to push above that 30 level. Opening above 35-41 would be ideal, but can still turn into a gap down by the Open. Not feeling comfortable yet.

I usually don't trade the pre-market, but was shocked to see the market was actually in the red overnight and considered it a great buying opportunity. I entered a long @ 3519 which if I get lucky will hold all the way to 3580 today. If the Open is bullish - I will probably add a contract or...

71,50 points from the ATH today. Could easily do that already tomorrow.

    Which Prop CME Futures Firm?

How can you expect to intuitively know if a market will go up or down if you have no experience trading that market? If your intuitive system were really good - then you'd trade that and stake up on it. Fund a small micro account or do one of those funded programs you mentioned on page 1.

    Which Prop CME Futures Firm?

You pretty much acknowledge your weaknesses here. In trading, you're not paid if you're almost right. Sounds like your results are inconsistent. Which is the problem most traders face... No firm is going to hire you because of an intuitive sense which is a hit or miss. I only believe in...

    Does the market really change?

On the subject of charts: A daily chart simply shows the O H L C values for each particular day. It says nothing about how or in what sequence these prints occurred. For example, a market which opens at the bottom, trends steadily higher and closes at the top will visually look similar to a...
