Since you're following Al Brooks - why are you not trading ES or MES? Isn't his entire course mostly based on that? I would imagine that if there's any merit to what Al teaches it's possible not all of it is directly transferrable to other instruments as each instrument have its idiosyncracies...

Markets go up. Markets go down. Buy when they go up. Sell when they go down. Very simple, yet very hard. Thinking why this, why that, is generally not a good mindset for a trader as the market will do what it wants to do at any given time regardless of what anyone thinks.

And just what are you seeing? :) We're up 21 % on the year for no other reason than TINA/FOMO/money printing (as far as I can tell). The best years over the last 20 years have been up around 30 %. Maybe we can do that. Maybe. I'm cautious to the long side from here, but maybe I'm thinking...

I don't hold a strong opinion, but we're up nicely for the year and ~ double tops can happen after such pullbacks, so may be wise with some caution... :)
