Respectfully, I have to disagree with this. If you identify a pattern you can exploit for profit - what difference does it make if you know why or not? Jim Simons explicitly said that in their research they found many recurring patterns where they didn't understand the reason behind them and...

I suppose this could be extrapolated to every other performance based activity as well. Chess, poker, etc.

Someone bought $3,400 worth of SHIB last August. It’s now worth $1.55 billion

I don't think that's a controversial statement at all. :) Isn't that the reason why most people invest in anything? I think this squid coin scheme is what most would refer to as a shit coin and these exist in abundance. Not comparable at all with Bitcoin and other more serious projects.

Cool. Now that you mention it. One of the most public critics of cryptocurrencies here in Norway actually did that, i.e., created his own blockchain. One could argue that many of the critics aren't knowledgeable enough, but doesn't seem to be the case with this guy.

Are you on the fence waiting, then, or what's the plan? :)

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

07 tagged. NQ picked up some momentum in the last hour, but ES lagged behind. As of today the 1st trading day of November is positive 5 out of the 6 last years. I'm holding a long I hope to close out at 09 before the electronic close. If not - stopping out for a profit at 4601 or...

No offense taken. LOL. I've been one of the skeptics and I suppose I still am in some ways, but I'm slowly learning more and even when being skeptical I've considered the fact that my skepticism could be based on my lack of understanding/knowledge. I now fully believe BTC and other...

Next hurdle is 4601. Working that now.

I'm a salty no-coiner too, but I suppose we're still early and there's still time.

Triple bottom in place. Looks good from here for the long side if we can clear 4597. If so - looking at least for 4607/8, but if momentum picks up we'll clear that level too and possibly see 4615/20 by the Close.

I'm brand new to crypto. Tell me where to learn about it.

Looks like a great resource. Thank you.

Obviously, there is no free money. I'll counter this argument with asking you why not every student in school is a top student? After all - the resources are equally available to everyone? Just because everyone have access to the same information does not mean they process / utilize it the...

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

The quoted post was posted a few hours ago, I think. The picture changed some since then... New lows would be less of a surprise from here, but a close above 4600 is still the most likely scenario from my point of view. It's only probabilities, though. No certainties... :)

Which I agree with 100%, but that's not what he said. He said explicitly that there's no way you can trade profitably with charts alone.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Late session (last 1-2 hours) run-up for new highs if we haven't made them already by then is my prediction for today. A new LOD would be a surprise from here, but you never know for certain, do you?

Do you honestly believe that? I agree with the rest you said and how there's much other valuable 'stuff' to consider, but I hold a different opinion in that I believe there are traders who are profitable with charts/levels alone. We can drop the discussion of course - but I'm curious if this...

Hungry dip buyers showed up. Still looks pretty good for a close above 4600 by end of session, IMO. New highs (> 4612) should be on the table too. Might chop a bit on the way of course...

1st trading day of November today. Positive net on the last 4 out of 5 years. Other supporting parameters suggests an Up Day as long as 4600/4595 holds. Might see a pullback on the Open and we might not. Rug pull below 90.

Day trading a live chart is for experienced and prepared players. The first step is to master yesterday's chart using a methodology to do so. Only when that's in place it is time to start mastering today's chart. Generally, the market will go sideways, up or down, either in a trend or in a...
