Ouch. Realized or still holding? You seem to be trading long only - often entering near tops. Sooner or later such a strategy will make you 'caught out'.

ES/SPX green candle now. Will it stay green and end green? Initial pop was sold.

The day so far pretty much went as I expected, but didn't trade it too well. Finished the day green, but took a few stops on my shorts by simply not giving them enough room to breathe. It's hard (at least for me) to sustain those 10 + point pops while holding a trade. ES current low is down...

Big moves - no sustained direction yet. Currently watching from the sidelines after a few scalps both long and short. Maybe wait for a break above/below the OR. Early longs above the OP. Looks like a retracement on the day so far.

Should be some good ranges to play today both up or down regardless of which way we have the main move of the day. While yesterday's late session sell off was a nice one, we're only down about 7% from the top on a closing basis and haven't yet had a 2 % day down on ES this year. If this is only...

I love beer, so I'll take you up on your offer. I'm just a piker amateur, though, so I would strongly advise anyone against following anything I write. Maybe I should stop posting for that reason. Bear market rallies can be hard to navigate and it's hard to see that kind of 'strength'...

Closing in on this week's RTH Open @ 4604. Trading and closing above that would appear pretty darn bullish by end of week, IMO.

I would be slightly suprised to see us take out yesterday's high today. It's possible. It's happened before. But I wonder if that'll "kill" this down move. Seems more likely we'll print an Inside Day or even take out yesterday's low by today's close. Now, watch the market rally. LOL. :)

That was a fun ride. I had ~70 as my upside target on this initial leg up, so we exceeded that a bit now. Could be a turning point here. It's easy to read such a move as 'strength' and forget the big picture / day ahead. The short term trend remains down as of now, IMO, so best to stay nimble.

My weekly statistical model gives 74 % odds of new lows by EOD given this weekly structure. So, new lows today or tomorrow, I think. Today could be a consolidation day, but there's nothing to say we won't continue lower today as well, so best to stay nimble. 4525 will be the tell if we get...

Triangulating. Dips are bought and pops are sold. I don't have conviction to enter short for a day trade here (84,50), so probably sitting this one out. I will be more interested in a long above 4600 if we get there today. Good luck all.

The ability to sideline/stay out when things are not clear is no doubt important. I'm a bit too trigger happy and am always amazed when I talk to people who say they sat the entire session without being able to pull the trigger.

I may not post much, but I'm curious about the Eurostoxx contract, so I do like to pop in and look once in a while. :)
