Quoting a post I made referencing Mark D.Cook who traded lightly on Monday and took the Friday off: No doubt. The ability to sideline when things are not clear is very important and can probably make or break a trader.

Anyone day trading the MES / MNQ lately? How's the liquidity? Especially in this fast paced environment? Any slippage on market orders?

No need to. Let's not discuss apples and oranges. I think everyone in this thread are discussing the broad market, i.e., S&P 500, NDX, etc. You may very well be a good stock picker.

There's perma-bears and there's perma-bulls. Never once heard you say anything remotely bearish on the stock market.

I agree it's a potential bottom, but can still go both ways, IMO. Next bigger move up/down coming out of this area (4300).

Make or break level here for the next larger move up or down, IMO. Expect some price swings. They may not have legs.

Getting there... I didn't have the conviction to trade it and my mind was still in "long" mode for the day. If we drop below yesterday's LOD - who knows... Note: S&P is currently back to the 10 % down level @ 4336.

100 points lower from here? I struggle to see it today, but who knows. Flat and watching myself. Mostly interested in a long today if that 4350/40 zone holds.

ES above Open. NQ below Open. Definitely a struggle in this zone. Ultimately, I think we go higher on the day, but it's far from certain and we can be good for another push lower.
