    Interesting. Makes sense. Thank you.

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

Interesting. Could you elaborate a bit more on how you utilize TIME? I've spent a great deal looking into time. Both broadly and more specifically, i.e., turning points in time during the day.

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

Dead on. Assuming you have the personality that's suitable for trading, "psychology" is largely either or both: a. Lack of method. b. Overleverage. With the OP we don't know much about a., but it seems evident he's overleveraged. When the risk per trade is large psychological issues will...

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

I never said you should quit or give up. I said you should set yourself up for success as a trader and make sure you at least have a fighting chance. Two scenarios (where you already chose scenario A): A. Quit your day job. Have a few thousand (!) in your trading account. A rolling evaluation...

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

If you want to "trade for a living" or have trading as your only income you need a much larger capital base such that you can have good returns with rather relaxed trading day to day. The way you're setting yourself up you need to make a killing every single day. Set yourself up for success by...

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

Dude. You quit your day job to pursue full time trading with a brokerage account of only a few thousands which you lost 1/3 of in a day? An in addition you blew your evaluation account which you now resetted? You need to be realistic. There are guys in this thread who responded to you who are...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

I thought you were joking, but you're right. It was in English when I clicked it a few days ago. They have a rather big list of firms/operations that's on their watch-list: https://financialcommission.org/warning-list/ Google Translate:

What to tell people I do instead of saying Day trading?

«I buy and sell money» with a confident smirk. Mickey Rourke in 9 1/2 weeks.

Please help me calculate an intraday-based volatility stop

What’s the purpose of the stop? Do you want it placed outside «noise»? One suggestion could be the 1/5-minute range value. Maybe plot an MA on that and decide on some kind of multiple of that.

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Hello there, Darrel, LOL. I've done considerable research on these firms and have personal experience with a few. I know very well how these operations work and I understand the business model 100 %. Also, I never said that it's not possible to get so-called "funded" (how you can get funded...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Both TopStep and E2T lets you trade a real money account, but TopStep have more restrictions and rules, so there's no reason to even consider them as an alternative to E2T. Back to Apex: Let's say you just by random luck manage to rack up $100K of profits. Hell, let's say 3 individual traders...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Here's one outrageous claim this Darrel clown is making on his webpage, i.e., that he earned $300K from his own trading with another funding company and then set out to make a better one himself. If anyone is making $300K worth of profits from trading he would certainly not set up a scamming...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

The only firm among these kind of firms that's a viable option is Earn2Trade and I'm not even sure they are worth it. Why is E2T the only firm that's possibly worth it? Simple: You're actually trading real money when funded and you can withdraw when you want. With Apex and similar you're...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Borderline scam. The only one that may get rich is himself. If you have any proof he’s the «real deal» or anyone is getting rich from this, feel free to provide it.

    Much props to E2T

They have a 50 % discount now it seems, so if you're interested it might be the time to take the plunge. I don't have time for serious/focused trading these days and it's a holiday coming up, but I'm considering enrolling just to get some practice in between and with the motivation/possibility...

    Much props to E2T

I can't comment on the tax part, but the problem from my POV is that trading a high number of contracts with E2T or similar means you will likely blow your account with them as the drawdown figures are conservative and you will never be able to risk any firm capital. Only your own profits. If...

    Considering Tradovate. Anyone using them?

Who is your current broker may I ask? Thanks. Both these could work, although I'm not sure they actually track net performance including all various fees. There's also the added cost of having to pay for this. Having all this directly from the broker would be preferrable.
