3652,50 is last week's RTH POC for those who are into that stuff. Also lines up with today's mid-point. So, pulling back there should provide some support. 3674 is last week's RTH mid-point and that's about where we reversed now. So, coiled between those two levels for now as I see it...

Looks like 3685/3700 if this pullback doesn't get legs. In terms of PA, this looks just like Friday so far, so best to stay nimble.

Did anyone say bear rally? Brilliant move. Well within predicted possibilities, so I hope people weren't caught off guard. That's great. I think catching one bigger move per week is really beneficial to your P&L and overall well being as a trader.

Flat B/E. NQ lagging behind, so might wait for NQ first. I won't be around to play it, but basically would want to fade this move if/when NQ fills the Globex gap. I may easily be wrong, so just don't want a 10-20 point stop on this. Plenty of opportunities later this week. :)

Gap filled. Shorted 03.25 with a 5 point stop. Will quickly B/E if I get the chance.

Just stopped out for a tick profit at 95,25 on a short. About to hit the sack and don't want to risk a move against me. Don't think I'll enter another one just yet. If I were around to monitor I would be looking to enter short here on a pop. Maybe a Globex gap fill at 04.25. Getting there now...

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

On the 12th of September the bullish sentiment seemed very strong across the board and very much so in this journal. That marked out a medium term top it seems. One of the things I've noticed is that the markets always seems strongest at a top. And maybe also weakest near a bottom? :) That's...

Thank you, @Relentless. I often feel I'm spamming these boards, but as I usually do my homework on a Sunday night I tend to want to share it. Regarding statistical data - I do once in a while get very high probability outcomes one way or the other, but surprisingly often it's more like a coin...

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

The last 15 negative weeks had an average low % change reading at ~ 4 %. If we use that as a target we'll see 3450 by end of next week. Using a conservative measure at ~ 2 % down, we'll see 3500. Basically, I'll be watching for continuation lower or a reversal where Monday and Tuesday can...

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Monday and Tuesday needs to reverse this - if not: watch out below. 3 weeks down in a row. Statistically, on that basis alone, there's a skew to the upside with a few of them being 'biggies', but it's not a big edge. We can just as easily see a biggie to the down side this week. I may stick...

Speculation on S&P500 futures (analysis and trading signals)

Well, I use certain objective levels from day to day, but the level I was discussing with you was what I would call a supply (resistance) level. Drawing levels has an element of subjectivity, but what I picked up from another skilled trader was that he would usually draw his levels using the...

October = bear-market killer, or will carnage continue?

First of all, I would disagree with the word carnage. I'm not on my trading computer, so can't say for certain, but I don't think we've had a day exceeding - 5% down on the S&P 500. While we're down on the year and there's been plenty of down days, this is a very controlled and calm bear so far...

Ever heard of a paper trading account? Schizo posted at least twice it was paper trading, so I was well aware. My comment was geared towards the actual approach, i.e., scalping and posting fast trades at the same time. Paper or real money wasn't a consideration.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

And how did you arrive at that conclusion? I certainly did not miss that. I also think Schizo is perfectly able to answer for himself.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

26 trades over a few hours? I'm sure you're overtrading your account with this kind of approach. Also, I'm not sure it would be beneficial to post these trades in a journal as this is essentially a scalping approach where you need to be very quick. Posting trades is a distraction. For scalping...

Thank you, EON Kid. And thank you for your concerns. Actually, I think it's beneficial as I don't have any external pressure or have to deal with them worrying. My father and mother will even say from time to time, "I hope you're not doing any trading in the markets anymore." For them, trading...

Stop right there... I think it was @virtusa who said it's better to get rich slowly than to get poor quickly. There's a lot of truth to that statement. For most of us, trading isn't about the big short or that one big trade which will make us set for life, but rather it's a daily/weekly...
