I'm glad you're happy for me ... but if you don't want to spend $100 for another gig did you try either of these suggestions for taming the expansion.

But FWIW, I got rid of every problem I had by ugrading to a Core2Duo E6600 with 2G of matched 800MHz RAM. Fast. Who cares about 200M anymore (I run Sierrachart on a ram disk just to reduce disk wear). Reliable as you could want. :)

IB has 3 servers, one for us market, one for europe and the third for asia. The asian one is in HK so there is no added delay.

IB will convert base currency to HKD as required in the trade and your profits or losses will remain in HKD. I don't think they convert for margin as thats just a "safety measure"; more a loan than a reality. You only need to make conversions when getting a check for your profits later.
