    Bitcoin thread anyone?

The chance the US government will outlaw bitcoin transactions at some point have to be above 50% in my view, does anyone disagree? It seems that Russia is the no1 spot for Bitcoin related searches, they might even find a way to say Bitcoin is helping terrorism financing

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

There is ALWAYS a good "story". The chart says it all, everybody and their mothers are in for the short-run, they want to ride the momentum, this story has been out for years its the momentum that is getting people crazy right now. All of this people are weak hands, they will dump this awesome...

I would short when the price did something usual, like a % decline larger than the previous ones. Of course, shorting a bubble at highs is nuts. You got to short when the stampede starts

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

I'm not sure. The higher it goes the more it draws people trying to make a quick buck in the momentum, they are all going to become sellers when it reverses. Its going to be really ugly and SUPER easy to make money as a short, thats why I wish there was an ETF. I ain't taking a risk at the...

When Bitcoin implodes (not an IF but when) I would be very careful with all these ewallet sites, I bet a lot of them will endup being bust, defaulting (and running with the money), going into liquidation etc. When things are going well all kinds of excesses happen and the fraud is usually only...

GOOG might be pulling an AAPL here (maybe not that bad but could be similar). Momentum game seems to be weaking and all the funds might start to liquidate now. This thing could get pounded for weeks. I'm considering a short there. I wonder if others have any thoughts on this

I made a few bucks after the news broke but never made a big bet. I have no position right now. Stock is already down 50% and there doesn't seem to be an imminent bk filling. These lazard guys will need some time to advise them, meanwhile the stock could squeeze and people might get hopeful

Why did UNXL’s FPR products fail? UNXL’s management blamed it on a collapsing industry cost structure. They have said on numerous occasions that they successfully produced the product; however, by the time that they began commercializing it, numerous low-cost Asian players entered the market...

    2) When UNXL first began touting Diamond Guard, we noted that the company claimed it had a hardness of 9H on the hardness scale – see for instance this presentation from 2011 http://bit.ly/16uOHC9 or this press release http://bit.ly/14DoEKJ. Somehow that has changed to 6H today – see for...

The below write-up was posted on ValueInvestorsClub One of the core ways we identify compelling shorts is to find companies where the management team repeatedly lies to investors. Among other reasons, that has been a core part of our UNXL short. Just for giggles, we went through two years of...
