I should note that XIV has a confirmed weekly A down now though. That does not bode as well for ES.

Weekly A down in the ES is 1412.25. So far it's holding.

Monthly A up in Crude is 92.30. Just blasted through the weekly. Number lines are very strong.

It doesn't affect the number line. SPY gaps down on the open. Number lines are derived from the opening range and A values.

You should be careful regardless, it's your money. I'm always amazed at lack of regard that most traders have towards their money or others. Their emotions get the best of them and they throw any once of responsibility they once had out the window.

I just use the first trading day of the month. I do keep static monthly number lines and I have a rolling 5 day number line I use for momentum.
