My advice is to paper trade until you are profitable, and only risk what is sustainable to lose. Also, whatever aspirations you have, 10x it. You may need it for the down days. And down days won't only be PnL wise

I am more willing to do some gamma scalping when managing my option position. I am also doing a little more option trading in general. I trade futures 90% of the time but options seem like a decent bet these days with free commission and the spreads aren't too bad at least on the index options...

Whichever broker that can subsidies futures commission will win. Fidelity pays like 1.5% on balances, ToS pays crap. Maybe ToS should subsidies futures commission if they want to win this "zero commission war" or maybe one of them should compete with the CME/ICE duopoly and open a futures...

This won't help IB much imo. The free commission rate is only for stocks/etf. Other platforms offer free commission for stocks & options IE FirsTrade, TradeZero, Robinhood, etc Why would someone looking for free commission trading go with the limited IB

They had some of the worse numbers in the prop firm industry, it really isn't a surprise. They only let you trade like half the day and only had 1 trading platform which wasn't free. Wish them the best on their other avenues tho
