Demo in forex is unrealistic profits. Nobody goes after you in a demo. This is the fate of forex trading, as dictated by market micro-structure.

Seems it wasn't a blip. Some say it was an algo problem but AFAIK no trades were cancelled and this one will stay permanently on the charts. Has happened before many times. See this for example.

it's a fair question you are asking. I have some mechanical systems but I never follow every trade and I admit that. I don't like automated trading because for me trading is fun and I want to do it. I also like to trade whenever I feel like, not when the systems issue signals. I use Multicharts...

The losses you cut short may turn to winners and the winners you let run may turn to losers and this is what happens in most cases. You cannot know in advance if the trade is a loss or a winner. Usually I say the same thing to someone I want to get rid off when I'm busy.

For TA to make sense, it means that there are idiots that take the other side. Are there any? if there aren't any, then those using TA are the idiots that take the other side.
