As of today, the USA has more confirmed cases than any other country. And we are at our daily high for new cases. No sign of a slowdown in infections yet.

This was brought to my attention today. Earlier this week I capped gains. I settled for $1100 on Monday when I could have made $6000 if I held until end of day. Wednesday I settled for $3000 when I could have made $7000. So I'm good at limiting my gains. Now I need to learn to limit losses...

Many necessary industries will not be affected at all... Healthcare, construction, shipping... The industries that will be affected the most are discretionary like retail, etc.

But it isn't popped until somebody defaults on a bunch of loans. This has not happened.

Senate voted unanimously about an hour ago. Futures did not skyrocket. This is great news for shorting tomorrow!

Futures continue to go down, even as they announce they cleared the way for the vote later today. Definitely a good sign for shorters.

Also the fact that markets seem to be ignoring the fact that USA is new epicenter. Specifically NYC, the financial capital of the world. Every day brings more cases than the last.

ok. Then good I didn't get my limit order filled just now before after market closed. I set it, then it kept moving around so it didn't fill. So I decided to throw caution to the wind and say f*ck it see what happens.

Yeah except that I would have had $6,649 of profit right now if I hadn't sold it. I keep doing this. Capping my gains like this.

Well I closed out with a $3,000 profit at about 9:40 a.m.
