We will rally and then re test the bottom

As of today, the USA has more confirmed cases than any other country. And we are at our daily high for new cases. No sign of a slowdown in infections yet.

Definitely need a risk mitigation strategy

This was brought to my attention today. Earlier this week I capped gains. I settled for $1100 on Monday when I could have made $6000 if I held until end of day. Wednesday I settled for $3000 when I could have made $7000. So I'm good at limiting my gains. Now I need to learn to limit losses...

We will rally and then re test the bottom

Many necessary industries will not be affected at all... Healthcare, construction, shipping... The industries that will be affected the most are discretionary like retail, etc.

Trading strategies for Jobs report Thursday

Now I'm in a position that I don't want to be in. I have 2628 shares of SPXS. Lost 11% so far today. Also, long-term prospects are that stocks will go up when virus panic is over. I was really hoping that jobless claims report was going to move things down. This wiped out all my gains from...

Senate voted unanimously about an hour ago. Futures did not skyrocket. This is great news for shorting tomorrow!

Futures continue to go down, even as they announce they cleared the way for the vote later today. Definitely a good sign for shorters.

Also the fact that markets seem to be ignoring the fact that USA is new epicenter. Specifically NYC, the financial capital of the world. Every day brings more cases than the last.

Trading strategies for Jobs report Thursday

I'm not liking this... I have the -3x S&P (SPXS) and since I didn't close it out, I believe S&P will go up until midnight when the Senate votes and then probably up more once vote passes! All I can hope for is the jobless claims report to help me. Otherwise I'm in this trade longer than I...

ok. Then good I didn't get my limit order filled just now before after market closed. I set it, then it kept moving around so it didn't fill. So I decided to throw caution to the wind and say f*ck it see what happens.

Unemployed workers will now make more staying home than working.

Argentina was the 7th largest economy in the world when they came to power. It hasn't recovered since. Why the hell are they so liked there? Lol.

Trading strategies for Jobs report Thursday

I bought 2628 shares of SPXS. I bought it near end of today's regular trading hours @ 19.125. I'm worried about the stimulus vote moving things in the opposite direction, though.

How do you rate this performance today?

So I went ahead and bought 2628 shares of SPXS in expectation of the jobless claims data tomorrow morning. I know most of it is likely already priced in, but there should still be a drop when it's confirmed. Now I unfortunately bought these just after the S&P gave up much of it's gains for...

My Alert: Spread widening will be killing all the traders

Yeah except that I would have had $6,649 of profit right now if I hadn't sold it. I keep doing this. Capping my gains like this.
