    Spoofs

Exactly why I don't base any of my trading off what the DOM is doing. Occasionally, there will be a legit buyer or seller aggressively moving mkt up or down a bit, and I stress a bit, but otherwise the flashing of size the flickering of numbers seems totally random. But thats just how I view...

    who do you trust ?

I agree with redneck, trust yourself and no one else :) seth, sorry for the detour :)

    who do you trust ?

Hate to put you in the redneck stereotype but perhaps you are too dumb (as you said) to understand? And like I said from the get go, I wouldn't know where to start. To each his own, keep on truckin' sir. :)

    who do you trust ?

Every entry is based on extremely specific criteria and, after each entry one of a number of outcomes can occur. Depending on what the mkt shows me, I have a plan of attack for each one. So if A happens, then I proceed with B, but if C happens instead then I go with plan D and so forth. In...

    who do you trust ?

I wouldnt even know where to begin, but it doesn't matter really anyways. We all craft methods around what we see and experience. If it works for you to use stops intraday, don't stop (no pun intended). :)

    who do you trust ?

All due respect, you don't know your market well enough then.

Why Madoff didn't tried a passive strategy, like buy-and-hold, covered-calls, etc?

If you're too busy, then don't start threads. You are engaging people for replies by starting threads and then aren't around to chat. It's kinda rude actually. Someone takes the time to answer your questions and you are "too busy" for them. The only reason I bring it up is I am hard...

    Where Have you Traded?

Unsuccessfully. The bitterness you show on every thread does not depict a successful person (or trader)

Do you guys think opening an hour earlier would effect west coast traders mentally?

I'm sure at first it would be an adjustment but just like anything else, you'd alter your schedule to acclimate to the new times. Or, just move east :)

So I tried a little experiment today (ES)

This definitely can lead you to a whole new way of seeing (and really profiting from) the ES. But...the road ahead is long and arduous. This is a glimpse of what is possible but honing that skill will take a ton of work (but well worth it!)

perpetual bull market DJIA 15000 soon

No no, you don't get it, you've gotten a major "get out" signal. This is a blessing. Don't lament the trend not continuing, use the info stock_t has provided to time the mkt. Cover and go short soon!

perpetual bull market DJIA 15000 soon

You joke, but you are dead right. Instead of getting angry at Stockie like most people do and have (myself included) I've embraced him and his timing skills. I just wouldn't pick the side that he's pumping. But the timing is there nonetheless!

    fire in the sky

For the record I do not believe in God nor will I say there is no god. I have no idea if there is or isn't, why should I?

too much good news is actually bad!

One of thee very best posts I've ever read on ET! I do not use stops either intraday (except buy/sell stops for entry), only if I have to hold overnight will I but this is rare.
