Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Futures Trading Journal

I appreciate the contributions made thus far with respect to where everyone find's themselves in terms of progress toward learning the methods discussed. Many have weighed in off thread from both sides of the coin. On one hand, a number of people feel they have progressed far enough to begin to...

BE DO HAVE and Jack Hershey vs Objective Reality

Which way did the market move after he posted? Forget his entry point. From the time he posted where did the market sit? and then where did it go? Not good enough? OK, this guy posted his calls and charts in real time - yesterday. As I have stated, no amount of proof will ever be good enough...

BE DO HAVE and Jack Hershey vs Objective Reality

The last person to post their blotter received accusations of 'photoshopping' the results. Others have been accused of fraudulent activities. Within this very thread, one individual 'called his trades' only to be told, "Well that wasn't quite good enough." I've called and posted trades the...

I hadn't planned to post any more in this thread, but evidently, some people need a refresher on their memory ..... We discussed this before and I provided you an opportunity, not only to learn from your errors in logic, but also to prove once and for all if Jack's methods held any weight...

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Equities Trading Journal III

I think johnpinocet gave you some pretty sage advice. Then again, I have my eye on a few stocks that held strong in the face of today's avalanche. If they run, I might take a position or two just to see what happens. :D Happens every time I go and think I am smarter than the market. :D I'm...

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Futures Trading Journal

We all have been at this for a few months now, and before moving forward, I wanted to take stock of where people stood. Without placing anybody on the spot, I'd appreciate it if we could temporarily digress to see how everyone's reality meets with their expectations. How did everyone do...

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Futures Trading Journal

I imagine more than a few people did today. Although many will prefer to remain under the radar so to speak From Another Thread. I'd say he is pretty happy with his day. :D I know I am with mine. :D - Spydertrader

Divide your capital into four streams. Use one stream for each stock you want to purchase. Still use the 2% stop if you desire, but set risk to one half percent (.005). In this fashion, if all four stocks tank, your account will still only be down 2%. Hope that helped clarify. - Spydertrader

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Equities Trading Journal III

In the beginning, you are bound to make errors in judgement. Not following the instructions, allowing fear or greed to influence your decisions or simply flat out forgetting to take an action are but several examples of what every trader experiences during the initial learning curve -...

Attached, please see the YM for the time frame in question. At the point you have marked these 'ftt's, we se now they are a stall (first) followed later by a dip (second). Both of these patterns are the market saying change, which is why we often mistake them for FTT's. However, soon after, we...
