My play for today will be long entries on a pullback to 3260/70 for a ride to 3300/3310.
May not even get that pullback.
I'm sure markets can rise just fine without short sellers.
Short sellers needs to cover their losses when the market rises. This is often done using market orders and thus adds to the buying pressure as they may compete with aggressive bulls as well.

You used the word 'healthy' pullback earlier. I don't think that's what we're seeing.
My view is that there's a lot of risk in this market moving forward. Still, on a daily basis, it goes up and down whether we're in a bull market or a bear market.

Well, it would certainly surprise me. It was a posssible scenario by market open, but not at this point, IMO.
3283 is possible, but probably not more than 3260 if at all. IMO, of course. :)
The most anticipated pattern for today didn't play out. I still think there's a very decent chance we'll see a strong swing up towards 3260 by the Close.
The less common pattern would be that this actually will be a trend day selling lower all the way into the Close with perhaps a small tail in...

3250 should be a major support zone.
If this does not hold - I suppose 3200 is in play.
