Lurking a bit on Twitter lately and it seems like everyone's getting it wrong.

Yeah. The crowd got it wrong today. Dip buyers got caught with their hand in the cookie jar twice today. :)

Why do you do door dash for pocket change when you can simply short the stock market and make 10 x your door dash income?

Preferred days in the week for day traders

Just took a quick look on trend days up/down. Only requirement is that they each open at top of the range and close at bottom of the range with no major retracement along the way. Nothing exciting here. Thursday stands out slightly to the up side and Wednesday slightly to the downside...

Preferred days in the week for day traders

Choppy days are a nightmare. Sadly, they're kind of typical on ES, but due to the high volatility these last two years even the range bound days have been fairly decent. Last few weeks have not been as juicy, though. Curious. Do you find that the market have changed characteristics in any way...

Preferred days in the week for day traders

I have a ton of stuff, but for regular ranges, I just look at the high - low for the RTH session. Not the true range (which I think measures from the prior close). I used to track that one, but discarded it for no particular reason.

Well, I wouldn't say taking a jab at someone is the way to proceed if you want to exchange opinions and research, is it now? Fortunately, I'm not easily offended as so many others on this site who would have you blocked by now. LOL. I did some very detailed research across weekdays on daily...

    Complacency in trading.

As predicted. I generally much prefer to be long than short and it takes me some time to get warmed up to the short side. Definitely a sticking point that needs to be adressed. Based on this data, I've been trading the short side exclusively with confidence this morning. I had a...

Preferred days in the week for day traders

I've done plenty of work in this space as I work off a predictive model based on statistics where weekday is a factor. I accurately predicted new lows today as well based on the same model. Posted yesterday in another thread. Now, seeing your attitude towards my initial post and asking if I'm...

Preferred days in the week for day traders

I made a thread about this a few years back. FWIW, I haven't noticed anything in my own performance related to weekday, although I do think day of week matters based on what I posted prior in the thread. Check out what I'm quoting from Mark D Cook in the OP. He found in his own performance that...

Interesting. Does that mean you don't trade it on Tuesdays at all?

You know that, don't you? You come across as a know it all who don't know how much you don't know. Just because you didn't figure it out doesn't mean it's not there. The market's not random.

I asked you specifically what's in hindsight. Reading comprehension issues on your end then?

A lot of people on Twitter seems to be buying this dip. Bearish signal I would assume... :)

NQ futures increased volatility after stocks close

It's always a good habit to know about the major releases, though. Earnings fit in that category. Especially in this post QE market. You experienced that yesterday.

    Vertical "ergonomic" mouse

I bought one when I suffered from a so called repetitive strain injury or mouse arm if you will. It was a great relief at the time being, but when the acute phase was over I eventually stopped using it and rarely use it these days. I prefer an ordinary mouse, but vertical mouses are supposed to...

NQ futures increased volatility after stocks close

Dip buyers going to get caught with their hand in the cookie jar. :) High probabilities of a new low for today's RTH session. I see an open gap on NQ at 12733 and on ES at 4080.75. As a minimum, I would expect a nudge below yesterday's low.

Headed lower again by tomorrow, though.

Sure about that? I've seen research suggesting otherwise. Also in my own research, although I can't say it's an hard edge on its own without other metrics/factors considered. There's a weekly cycle in the market, though. Usually, but not always of course, you get the week low/high early and...

    Complacency in trading.

I like wide range bound days or trend days up. The trend day down tends to be my achilles heel, so I need to master that one for sure.
