    Agreed. This is no place for short-cuts. Why would anyone want to be "cheap" with a screen that they sit in front of for almost 7 hours a day - - - especially if you are getting into your 40's when there is a huge tendency to go farsighted. Doesn't make sense to skimp on your eyesight...
