My expectation for today's session is that we put in the LOD and will at least swing above 3350. The second, but less likely, scenario, is that we're close to putting in the HOD and will sell off down to 3325 or more. But I think that's unlikely today. Then again, we're living in interesting...

In the end - your reaction is still a prediction that your entry will move in your favour. And you did say you were expecting weakness this week. Seems like prediction to me. Semantics, maybe.

Why? I thought you didn't predict...? :) Seems like we traded down to last Friday's Close overnight. I definitely think there's more downside in the weeks to come, but I'm thinking maybe some consolidation here...? But I know nothing. Medium/long-term predictions is just for fun on my end...

I think all market commentary is welcome. At least when it comes to the US indices. I'm cautiously bullish for the week, actually.

31 days since the last Inside Day. Maybe... EDIT: Nah. 1 tick below yesterday's low now. Probably going to see 3210 from here.

If you did this in 2020 - you'd be up 79 ES points excluding commissions and assuming you'd actually get filled on the Close/Open. You'd have to endure a 808,75 point drawdown. That's more than 40K on 1 ES contract. A quick study, so I'll stand corrected if there's anything wrong.

3310/3290 definitely a real possibillity on the day. 3233-36 possible support zone/LOD. So, tricky unless already short (I'm not).

Whippy indeed, unless you enter at extremes. My system have no strong statistical bias for today. Normally, would see a test of 3351 from here, but it's not a guarantee. Could see a sell lower and a new LOD later in the session OR we could just continue to rip above 3350 and print 3377 by EOD...

Did not... Seems like a ride towards 3377 is what's in store for today. Might be a tad too much on a single day, but these are volatile times.

Scratch that on a move above 35. Very low odds of a negative Close today, IMO. But anticipating that 3310 zone for a pullback to switch to long. Might not get it...

Agreed. Since I don't trade long-term, yet, it's just a hobby of mine at this point. Price is the final judge anyhow.

Yeah. We may very well see a decent up swing this week, but in the medium term it would be hard to envision a strong one-way rally with everything that's currently going on in the US and the rest of the world. Trading range maybe.
