    Meet the anti-crypto crowd

Nothing wrong with profiting from a bubble. I can't imagine demand being driven by anything other than greed and a desire to get rich. Even many of those who are positive towards crypto admit to not buying it for its utility, but simply because of the anticipated price increase. But as long as...

    ''Why did ES turn there?''

Check out the size of that 1st swing. Maybe that will give you some answers. That 2nd entry, where I also went long, was a double bottom which was confirmed with buy signals on my charts. At that point, I knew that it was very likely we'd see range expansion either up or down. With that higher...

How much weight do you put on overnight price action?

The question, I believe, wasn't if the overnight session yielded greater returns or anything to that effect. The question was if the overnight session have information which is useful to trade the RTH session and/or how much weight should be put on that.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Looks like the range may be set going into FOMC. Any takers on the final outcome on the day? Some FOMC days go silent by while others have two-sided whiplash volatility or a strong counter move before the final direction. Anyone who follow the news/economics who knows what to expect from the...

Agreed. Context is key. :) The best entries are when multiple signals/time frames align.

    Data Modeling and Forecasting Swings

Very interesting. Is it a black box approach or do you fully understand the math/logic behind? I'd imagine updating it as the day/week progresses would be valuable as the markets are changing. I'll be following as a fellow 'predictor'. Good luck. :)

Epic BOT-fight here around the 50 % RTH and Prior Close. Coiling up for a big move higher or ready to roll over?

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

I'm thinking a run towards 3700 and maybe even ATHs on the day. But it's a FED day, so you never know. Could roll over as well.

Double top to the tick. Those are rare.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Looks good for a long from 91 to 3700 from here. Odds favour a hold above 88 for today, but a dip much below 88 on the Open would negate that.

What's your input data (if it's not a secret)? Does it update in real time?

How much weight do you put on overnight price action?

For what I do as a day trader. Not much. 90 + % of what I look at is derived from RTH. But I know a very profitable day trader who does not seem to make a distinction between RTH/ETH and simply trades from continuous charts.

What Made You Join A Signal Service Provider?

I'm actually proud of the fact that I never paid for any expensive trading courses, signal services, chat rooms and so on. Spent a lot of money and time on books, though, which also were mostly a waste. It's my assumption that 80- 90 % in the 'teaching business' are crooks. The best you can...

What Made You Join A Signal Service Provider?

Nothing would make me join a (short term) signal provider. Newsletters or analysis/research on medium/long term macro-outlooks or similar would be of interest, though. But just to back/supplement my own views. At the end of the day you are on your own in this game.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Sure. Definitely worth paying attention to. :) But on a move-by-move basis - not so sure. And often you'll have multiple moves on your chart. So, do you look at the 50 % of all those...? Suddenly, you have a lot of lines on your chart which all can 'matter'. I've done some work on the...

Interesting. Not how I derived it, actually. Must have been an interesting confluence. Usually don't hurt when that happens.

Update. Must have been something magical about that 3653 level. LOL.

    Does trendline work?

Trend lines work really well if you want to paint your charts. :)

What is the best Trading Software in your opinion

Do you use this yourself? I was recommended this back in the day and I've seen quite a few of their 'homework' videos. It looks like a really great platform, so I would definitely consider it if I were shopping for a new one. It's rare you hear someone mention it these days, so I figured I'd ask.

Who has 5 second bar charts and better comms, for ES than IB?

Not sure what you mean by significant advantage over IB. I'm very happy with both Ninjatrader the software and Ninjatrader the brokerage (Dorman), although I've had some annoyances with regards to the software and their support/development.
