    ES Journal - 2021/2022

3850. Will scratch it around 72 if we don't roll over here. Maybe the same kind of scenario as yesterday. Too early and getting stopped out on some silly pop.

Shorting 68 here with a 5 point stop. Targeting the LOD or lower.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Keeps rejecting yesterday's LOD - not able to trade back inside yesterday's range. We will not close above 3885 today. A small pop higher can happen, but probabilities actually favor a move lower. Market's stuck in a range here trapping traders left and right.

    what about the Earn2trade?

A trader buddy brought this operation to my attention. I haven't read the fine print yet, but doesn't look to bad at a glance: https://tradeday.com/

Looks pretty good. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out.

Who to listen to at ET?

True. My concern, though, is that it's very easy to come across as sensible and speak good stuff on ET or elsewhere, but that this doesn't necessarily translate into profitable trading. Trading, especially day trading, is to me a very marginal business which doesn't allow for a great deal of...

Who to listen to at ET?

Yes. I'm not actively reading EliteTrader currently, so I haven't seen too many hints recently, but I've studied diligently in the past. My favorite poster of all time is @Cheese. Man, I would have loved it to see him post again and compare some notes on the work I've done so far. I probably...

Have you had benefits from psychological work in your trading?

Is that a book you'd recommend, @schizo? I'm interested in picking up a book or two in this genre to see if I can find any value from it.

Who to listen to at ET?

The challenge for the newbie is that it's a jungle out there with multiple people, approaches and methodologies pulling in different directions. I know for a fact that there are people here who sound very savvy and smart, but in the end ain't successful as a trader. The newbie won't be able to...

    what about the Earn2trade?

I think UProfit also has a sign-on/set-up fee when you get funded? Making it more expensive than the rest of the firms. I did some research on these firm a while back and concluded that E2T was the best alternative, especially since there's no conflict of interest as you eventually trade real...

    what about the Earn2trade?

I know a trader who claims to have pulled some money out of the firms, but I know he ditched LeeLoo for this very reason. I think he mostly did business with E2T. They have no such restrictions. Good luck and feel free to keep us posted. :)

The rally didn't continue as you anticipated, though. Sunday opened gap down and we've traded lower since about 1 % down from Friday's Close. No biggie, though. Could be consolidation. Do you find it helpful to track/watch treasuries for trading the indices?

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

That's my take as well. May not be a larger move, but some pulling back at least. My statistical model gives high probability of a flat or gap down open tomorrow. Just not sure how high it can go overnight before reversing. Assuming that's how it will play out. Can't rule out a move to 3900...

    what about the Earn2trade?

That’s the trouble with LeeLoo. Your funds are virtually locked up for 6 months or so. I’m sure it’s by design to increase the chances of the trader failing before he can withdraw it all.

    what about the Earn2trade?

Of course. Nice job. Which firm may I ask? I think the parameters are perfectly possible to conquer. In fact I've passed them a few times. However, I just feel that they do their best to put up many hurdles which makes it clear they don't want you to pass. The last time I tried out E2T...

How's the liquidity on those CFDs? Do they track the indices/futures accurately and can you get in/out where you want?

Stalking a short here for the next bigger move. What say you guys? Are the next 50 to the upside or the downside?

I see. So, now that we’re done with October what do you see next? I’m stalking a short here. Not the big short, but probably some pulling back at least.

    what about the Earn2trade?

In my experience these firms will make use of any excuse to eliminate your account as their source of income is from collecting fees and resets - not funding traders. That said, it does sound like you maybe broke some rule? If you didn't I'm sure they'll bring you back on?
