    grey market broker

Delisted stocks are not for me. Same with "most" OTC. To hard to trade and easier to manipulate.

Why do institutional traders have an advantage if any advantage is whittled away by using it?

Margin of about $840mm? Who would take the other side? Yes, very large.

Why do institutional traders have an advantage if any advantage is whittled away by using it?

That is an enormous trade that would likely never happen.

Why do institutional traders have an advantage if any advantage is whittled away by using it?

Not sure about this one. Some of the smartest people I've ever met have never traded a stock. Later in life, they pick up trading as a hobby as they have the time and enjoy the challenge.

Why do institutional traders have an advantage if any advantage is whittled away by using it?

Hi CyJackX, I guess it matters your definition of institutional, what they trade and their needs. If the trading has a high fixed cost, a small account can't handle that. E.G. Fixed costs of $25,000/month would kill any small account and be a small number to an institution with $500mm. A small...

    NQ vs ES

Why would ES be easier to trade, or for that matter different for you. ES is less volatile but $50/point vs NQ at $20/point. Does it really matter?

    wrong trade

I once hit my own stock bid. I entered an order to buy 500 at X. I wanted to enter another order to buy another 500 at the same price. I was using Redi at the time. I found it faster to click on the bid to create the order then switch to buy, as clicking on the bid creates a sell order. I forgot...

    options training services

I'll jump in. It is very difficult to make a general statement like that as what is the reference point? For a trader buying or selling vol where you need predict the stock or index actual future price movement or lack of movement, this is often just as hard as predicting the future price of the...

    wrong trade

Sorry, but not accurate. As this is a spread, and sent to one of the 5 complex order books, the NBBO of the legs do not offer any protection on your spread order. At best your software might provide a warning.

    wrong trade

Last year, I sold an option spread on the CME for a debit of 3.90 when I wanted to enter. A Credit of 3.90. I learned that the CME charges $1000 to investigate an obvious error. As the trade was a 1 lot, and he loss was less than $1000, and it did not meet their criteria for obvious error, I had...

How big account size should you start with and how to build it up?

For stop orders, I would use a custom order and ‘“STOP” in the routing choice. This will route your order to one of the EDGE markets where the order is held serverside vs on your PC. The choice of your trigger is a personal choice and does not effect speed. I would use Bid or ask. You should not...
