I think min wage will reduce employment. A lot of employers can’t pass the cost on. And those that can will mean that consumers will pay more. Further it will hurt the work ethic.
I just disagree with Ken’s comments.
actually meritocracy goes out the window. Wage inflation fucks those who are talented but earning 20/hour as immediately the lazy are earning as much as them and there is little ability for a company to pay the good workers. Remember that labor is pretty inelastic once the demand is set at this...
someone needs to teach you basic math.
if you need 10 people to run a restaurant, maybe you get by with 9. You can’t run your business with 5 regardless of the wages. You don’t think a business that hired 10 people at 7.5 would hire only 5 at 7.5 if they could?
I am against the minimum wage...
saltynuts graduated with 4.0 in finance. There are only a few people who understand IRR better than him. He obviously has found a way with that giant brain of his.
the employee has to declare it as income. A real life example is a company car or perks like a country club membership. Or becoming a partner in a law firm.
i had written one like 15 years ago. I would write my own if i were you, as the input parameters are what's critical and there isn't a perfectly right answer for that. Your edge will come from those parameters.
Jsop is a moron but you have the dumbest post in this thread.
Selling a put is not always superior to buying stock. If you don't get something this basic I don't know what else to say, you just refuse to reason or are incapable of basic mathematical thought.
they match whatever the matching engines at the exchange they are sent do decides.
typically, two market orders will trade with hft at different prices - especially in the pfof where orders can be held for a particular amount of time.
Respect the long vol or you will blow up in a most spectacular fashion.
I’m a short vol biased trader but invariably get into trouble is when I stop respecting why someone would own gamma.
