RAM vs Processor vs # of Cores ... what matters most for a trading rig?

I'm curious about your Excel workbook and can't help but think that what you're doing is not suited for Excel? I don't have a live stream through Excel, but I do use Excel as a front-end for my data-analysis (SQL DB and C# application) and either Excel isn't sufficient for this OR the...

You know that don’t you? LOL. I didn’t propose it as a complete system, you dummy.

can price action predict market moves

For pure chart reading - one signal I find valuable is the false breakout. This can be both macro and micro. Generally, it does not require interpretation (this is where you need to define some rigid rules for how to use this). Combined with other filters this can usually give good entries. I...

You claimed something you can’t prove or back up. And I already arrived at a balanced conclusion. :)

can price action predict market moves

You're the one with the outrageous claim that professional traders as a whole consider chart analysis a waste of time. The burden of proof is on you.

can price action predict market moves

I misread. My bad. Still, I don't see anything which confirms your claim beyond your anecdotes. It contradicts what I've been told and read elsewhere.

can price action predict market moves

You did not provide a link which proves your claims. Further more - that's only one subset of professional market participants. I know that I personally have never had any interest in being a market maker, nor any illusion that it's something I could do profitably as a retail trader.

And who exactly are those professionals? Link, please? I'm generally not interested in the research of others as I rely on my own research and custom developed tools (among which I have a statistical model not based on charts) to help my trading. It's all TA, of course.

can price action predict market moves

Well, when you became an engineer, I assume you didn't Google your way to become one, nor did you expect to become one by buying random courses or books. :) Well, several of the traders in Schwager's latest book called themselves fundamental trades and trading generally is 'too much 'work...

The turn is slow, but no sell signals yet and them T-Day Boyz want their green today $$$. I will scratch it for a 1 point loss @ 53. Else hold for 62 +++. EDIT: Scratched it for 1 point @ 55.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Strong odds of a close near the top of the range today. I have 62 as an upside target with 72 as an outlier target by the Close. Just completed a 20 point swing, but the next long signal should be worthwhile, IMO. :)

can price action predict market moves

Well, this is kind of what I've been saying all along. Those who have something of value generally keep their mouth shut while those who have something which may seem to have value just can't keep their mouth shut and love to 'teach'. And since the typical amateur doesn't know any better he...
