id like to put in my two cents worth. concerning customer service, when im looking for a broker thats the first thing i look at. whether they answer the phone or put you on hold. even if you dont need to have your hand held. second, IB does not have the best commissions. I don't know why...

one other thing that I forgot. I have written a dll that my TS8 software sends entry orders through this api to redsky and then after the enty i use tex to enter my oco pt, sl, be, tl with preprogrammed exit times. i absolutely trust this more than letting TS8 monitor my stops. pat

i actually think its not a bad idea to start out with $2,000 for the beginner. your going to lose it anyway so start small. then you will get to experience the following 1)what it feels like to be ahead 2)what it feels like to be losing 3)what it feels like when your platform doesn't work...
