Long-scalping equity options against time decay and market drift

Obviously you've yet to harness the "layers" sim-edge. Pfft to %-return.

Long-scalping equity options against time decay and market drift

There are a lot of efficiencies to be had. For example, under both TIMS and SPAN, trading a combo-fly improves haircut by roughly 2/3rds over a natural put or call fly (vertical). It always pays to run the combo/vertical. There are others as well.

Bear set off alarm by brushing against the patio door on the deck. I forgot to bring in the suet, and I've got a neck ache from tummy sleeping. Popped an aspirin and will head to the office for some headphone time. I am working on my degen algorithmic short put "layers" which when described in...

I glossed over this. My futures and futures options quotes are delayed in the sim-account tied to my IRA. The quotes are delayed but the fills are obv based upon a r/t snapshot. This thread is gold.

Here's the Apology Letter from SBF

Jane St knew he was a fraud. There was a nerd-group on JS-WoW players on Discord. He was, by far, the lowest ranked player of that generation of JS-hires. The US-Japan arb was good for a couple mil after he received backing. Some say no more than 8-10MM. He had an arb that was traded flat...

I haven't read a single post from this thread but a decent med-specialty and becoming a Director on a desk are going to have similar ten-year income potential. Residency pays $60K on average. Nobody would enter the field if the potential was 2-3X Residency pay.

Can we get an MTM PNL update on FAT's sim-puts? Here's mine. Figured with the vol I should show it. Hourly var is about $4K.

Long-scalping equity options against time decay and market drift

My thing has a embedded put (pseudo ps) as the downside tail trades above x until expiration. At expiration I do risk $5K below 3900 SPX cash. I don't want to be a hog so I will leave discussion of my COB fill to the cover. My trade was marketable (market order) and filled at an initial -edge of...

Long-scalping equity options against time decay and market drift

I don't have a PhD. I was phys and pre-med in undergrad. I went to UChicago on a full ride and graduated early. I did some biochem grad-work at UT-Austin under Folkers. Inhibition of p-gp with CCAs in chemoresistant tumor models. I left to work in govt. I can't show the trade. It's a bit more...
