    Using Hotkeys

Even with 100 shares, what if you miss the offer and the next offer is $0.25 higher? Market orders provide no limit, I would not use them.

    Using Hotkeys

Yes, a limit order would limit the price you would pay and give you more control of your entry/exit prices. I'm not a fan of market orders. If you are more aggressive and want to add to the chance of getting filled fast, I'd rather set up a hotkey to buy the ASK plus a value. This is a hot key...

    Options adjustment

I’m not allowed to provide trading advise so i have to be very general. Every option trade that is not an arb has risk by design. The risk is represented by the Greeks. I’d you do it right, you target the Greek that you want risk in. E.g. delta for directional bets, Vega for betting on Vol...

To my knowledge, the only STT software that is certified with IB is LVX. We offer Sterling with custody at Wedbush.

Sorry, but no. You lose less by playing smaller and choosing the strikes that will work for you, not by balancing delta. These are spreads with limited P/L. You need to be comfortable with that. Over trading them only benefits your broker.

I can't suggest an exit plan. I can only suggest that any hedging will increase your risk and cost.

Friday with an SPX close of about, 2834, if you sold the 2825/2835/2845 fly for friday- last friday, which closed at about $1.05 and you are risking $8.95, you have to expect the index will close outside that range a much higher number of times than inside. Enough to be wrong and still make...

    Options adjustment

You have to base your trade-long or short your butterfly-on your assumptions of what you expect the index to do or not do. If you have no process to predict or have an expectation of future movement, your trades are too random and you are just betting the MM and others that price these are...

I'm trying to provide constructive criticism when I say you, you consistently do not provide enough information for anyone to provide a targeted helpful response. The result will be a group of responses trying to guess at what you are looking for and others that will tell you just not to trade SPX.

Starting a Hedge Fund (Slide Deck)

I do not deal with either, but that said, I would say if you come from a big bank or other firm, have a great background or speciality and have the ability to raise capital scale, it might work. You can do that with $5mm to $25 mm. You need $200mm to start, I typically deal with equity/option...

Starting a Hedge Fund (Slide Deck)

I often find myself as a sounding board for "traders" looking to start a business managing money with either a pooled asset or with SMA. We help advise them and walk them through the process and provide suggestions for service providers such as formation specialist, admins, accountants etc. A...

ES/NQ Trading - looking for solutions

I did not say it was a good idea to be long 4+3 or short 4+3, just that you can with a $25,000 account. I personally would not trade more 2 per $25,000, but I'm not a scalper.

ES/NQ Trading - looking for solutions

For Day Trader, we can offer up to 25% of SPAN. Margin on all the contracts is only $51,480 or $10,296 for DT. A $25,000 account could do this.

I have to call BS on this!

What percentage of those lawyers are divorced within 5 years and never get to see their kids? There is more to life than the after tax money you get to keep. When I was a MM I was home by 6pm for dinner every night. Happy to net less.

ES/NQ Trading - looking for solutions

I've traded the smaller WTI futures. The side that order flow is directed at is always one tick higher or lower than the full contract and that is 50% of the full one. Little to no public orders and MM locking in a tick.

ES/NQ Trading - looking for solutions

I have to disagree. Micro futures at $5/point will be more expensive per notional $ to trade. He was trading 4 ES futures and now you want him to drop to less 2.5% of that. The Micro futures will be good investors with smaller accounts but horrible for day traders.
