    Exchange fees

It is very complicated as in addition to fees per exchange there are rerouting fees. E.G. AMEX does not have a fee on most symbols. You send an order (NBBO market 1.00 x 1.02) to buy 100 at 1.02. If the AMEX does not have any offers there at 1.02 and a MM does not match the away offer, the order...

    In House Prop Trading

If they are a registered broker dealer, you have to take the appropriate test (7, 57 or both). If they do not require you to take a test but require you to deposit funds as first loss, that can be a red flag. There are traditional prop firms, most are in Chicago/NYC, that are not broker...

    Short borrowing costs

Day traders require a locate for any stock not on the ETB list. It is not a borrow but a locate. We offer locates from our clearing firm (free) and third party locates when you can't get the free one. The third party locates have a fee.

Should I consider a prop firm? Or just trade my own funds? ($2 mil)

I do not. I would recommend avoiding illiquid equities with wide option spreads. Not only do you have to pay to get in, but out too. And on the way out, if it is a time of stress in the market, the markets will be wider. that cost means you have to be too right too often.

Help With Adjusting Short Credit Spread

To be fair, it worked as intended. You set up a delta short spread where you losses were limited. You just have to work on: When to enter a trade and why. When to exit.

Help With Adjusting Short Credit Spread

You have already incurred the loss. You can pay 5 to buy it back today and hope someone sells it or allow the two assignments. I would do whatever costs less and move on.
