its what the experienced eye and brain see within the mess of numbers moving up and down that allows the trader to see opportunity and profit within perceived chaos.
The big eye opener will be not only noticing this divergence, but finding the appropriate time to avg into a large short position and cashing out on the late day tank.
When money is "lying in the corner" it's only appropriate to take a bunch.
I'm not a Puretick fan, but paid sponsors are the ONLY reason this board continues to exist. Put them on ignore and stop being a baby about the whole thing.
Not for me, right from the opening bell I could see latency in the DOM (just like the last 3 days).
Now, though, it appears to be back to normal but like you said, no word officially from Velocity yet.
Maybe you shouldn't be so abrasive, proclaiming that short term trading is only for losers and investors are the only ones who make any money.....
by the way this is a TRADING website, geared mainly to short term traders!
I'm sorry that you have not figured out how to consistently profit from intra-day gyrations, year in and year out. Some of us have, most haven't. That's how it goes.
Of course you don't NEED to, it's just the very best way a person can learn to compound their money on their own. That being said, it's a huge commitment of time and energy to get to the point where one can do that.
I AM doing my job, my trading is 90% waiting and 10% acting. You dont think I'm some impatient noob scalping in and out at lightening speeds all day do you?
I wait for the goods to show up and I take action. otherwise I sit. Traders get PAID to wait you know :D
Not yet, hoping to get a real timetable on this. If anyone hears anything concrete, please post it here.
EDIT: My trader buddy just called and they have no idea what is wrong but are telling IT to get on it and figure it out.
