So I profited 820 dollars on a deep ITM options spread and received this email from Tastytrade

It's their job to not allow trades not my job to figure out what trades they don't allow. I have never been on a broker that didn't mitigate their own risk on the backend anyway. If a trade doesn't fall within acceptable parameters then the trade is automatically rejected.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Your charts are labelled wrong. Sometimes it might line up but it doesn't act as support or resistance. If support and resistance was tradeable then every trader would be profitable because it's literally the retail calling card. Also you can throw order blocks and mitigation into the mix...

So I profited 820 dollars on a deep ITM options spread and received this email from Tastytrade

This is why we have margin calculations. It's not my job as a trader to give a shit about your house. I am placing trades...if you don't want me placing certain trades the don't allow me to make them. The broker isn't your friend. Think of the broker/client relationship like a mouse stealing the...

So I profited 820 dollars on a deep ITM options spread and received this email from Tastytrade

If they don't want to allow a trade then shouldn't that be handled on the backend instead of sending pissy emails? I can't sell naked puts on one of my brokers for certain symbols, and the trade gets blocked no matter how many times I try to place it...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Actually they are pretty accurate with the weather forecast nowadays :) Anyway your realtime reactions could all be put together in one swing trade. :)

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

I don't know about that, but I do know that this board is a wasteland of traders who could not make TA work for them, so have turned to options IV, and algo/quant trading instead. :) Well the difference is you have a Lambo for your avatar, and I am looking at my (2008) Lambo out my window. :)

Man I could average down forever with that kind of money....:)

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Talk to me when you can forecast price over a year in advance like I did with BTC. That can only be done with EW and fibonacci. :) (nice drawings though...did you put those up on the fridge?) Here is the proof. https://community.swingcharts.com/c/8-category/8

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

Yes it is. https://community.swingcharts.com/t/spx/45 I'm not trading SPX but always good to know what the market as a whole is doing.

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

Perfect example of something that is un-tradeable if you aren't prepared to go stopless and think long term with averaging down.

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

No I'm not advocating dollar cost averaging. You guys are so clueless about TA that you can't fathom having the confidence to pull off a swing trade. Instead you cling to stops. EVERY position you take will end up in the red...nobody ever gets the bottom lol...the trick is getting near the...

Lol moving averages don't exist. They have no affect on price...pure voodoo.

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

You guys, you need to understand that when I give a worst case scenario its not the plan, its a worst case scenario. Clearly if you are buying at the top of a rally you need to rethink your life lol.

    The gutfeel swing trade

No man, your chart is just plain wrong. People use trading ranges when they don't know how to chart. It's lazy. (a) could be 4 but likely we are going to see sideways movement here...not just a "trading range" but measured moves. The red line is the invalidation level. This is the weekly so...

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

Qaunto? Why would you ever sell an index for a loss? It still works if you buy at all time highs, especially if you are averaging down...not the most cost effective but still works. Crypto, yeah if you're trading meme coins...any of the established ones why wouldn't you buy every dip?

I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

You guys have such a retail mentality...definitely should not be a member of a forum for Elite traders. I have found nothing Elite about this place...sure some options knowledge but not traders. :) You don't sell your house just because the market tanks, why would you sell your stock? When...

    Algo & Quant traders

So how many trades are you pulling like? What's the deal with fees? Do you need to set up your own server or something? I mean fees would be horrendous.

    Algo & Quant traders

I was just pointing out that you know all this quad stuff is already in the chart like you're just calculating what the charts already presenting you. So essentially I'm a visual Quant and you guys are data quants
