Perfect example of why S&R is just plain wrong analysis.

    I meant BTCC.B (cheaper & CAD)

Perfect example of why S&R is just plain wrong analysis.

I did. I looked up puts the other day, and they were priced to the point you couldn't make money. Even if you got the direction right. I mean you could short it straight up but would need to risk a lot of capital which I'm not prepared to do. I'd rather take the long side.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

What are you using there a chart profile of some kind?

Look how early I projected this triangle lol! https://community.swingcharts.com/t/mara/31

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

See if using EW you could have shorted at N or P (top) but good entry. :) It was not necessarily due to a resistance level fail though but a B wave which can be measured...but hey if it works! I don't short and buying puts are too expensive so my entry will be long. I wouldn't even look at...

What are you talking about? I'm still collecting premium on that position. That was a mechanical trade that I actually called before selling the puts as I wanted to test my strategy under a worst case scenario. It was 3 lots lol not 300.

    The dark side of trading

Ah some people just don't have what it takes. I get more pissed off about losing my tv remote somewhere than losing 50k in stocks.

No, I called a BTC retrace to 56k like back in March or early April.

It is. You can see the time stamp when it was posted. ??

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

No quant on the planet...(maybe rentec) was calling for a 56k pullback, with a time frame, when price was at ath's back in March. These projections can't be done by crunching numbers, only by recognizing cycles.

Don't use my quote about supermarket lineups! Yes, lineups move in cycles everywhere.

Look at the attachments on ET lol...all the proof is here dating back to March! :)

I guess if you want to automate, but you are then having to play the numbers game and hopefully have more wins than losses. I look at trading as wins and more wins. I do not accept loses...literally or figuratively. My goal is to maximize my positions before the reversal.

Yeah almost as much wisdom as say....PROJECTING THE FUTURE PRICE MONTHS IN ADVANCE?? lol

Perfect example of why S&R is just plain wrong analysis.

Forget about gaps and inefficiencies and imbalances...they are the same voodoo as S&R. Price does not bounce off support, or resistance. Sure sometimes it may give that impression, but a broken clock would give the impression of being right twice a day too. :)

Hey! You got it right too! You know as well as I do that S&R being used by most traders is total hogwash :) https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/bitcoin-price-thread.315402/page-462#post-5949135

I think you are agreeing with me that S&R is not actually what it seems :)

That's probably a more sound strategy than 99% of traders here. :)

Call it what you want, order blocks, zones, etc none of it holds any merit. It's like thinking thunder & lightning is the sound of Zeus bowling strikes. lol (have I used that one yet??) Anyway, as I have shown, this call to retrace to 56k goes back to March when we were at ath's...long before...

@danielc1 That is so crude lol. The difference is you had no idea it was a "bear channel" until well after it had "formed"...and even now would be un-tradeable. I knew this was an ABC correction in the making and was calling for a possible sub 50k if we have a double correction when we were at...
