    Synthetic leveraging using options

The problem is if it doesn't trend up then you are out the cost to set it up....over time these losses will negate gains so it will not perform as a stock replacement...at least from the mindset of an investor or swing trader where we view draw downs as opportunity to add to our positions not as...

Buying calls versus spreads makes no sense.

Look at the numbers! Show me any strategy that can out perform holding the underlying? lol.

Buying calls versus spreads makes no sense.

(July19 20 call strike @ .88) The cross section here is your BREAK EVEN @ expiry. Like wtf???? Unless you get lucky and catch a huge gap up you can kiss that money goodbye. :) Turning it into 20/21 vertical spread makes it marginally better by cutting costs, and you are only capping gains...

    Synthetic leveraging using options

OK I'm going to play around with it. I think on tos you can show intrinsic and extrinsic values under columns settings. Ok using BITX (28.46) you can see my delta is .95 (.72+.72-.49) 1SD is about 32.18 so I would pnl $2800. With 2000 shares I would profit 32.18-28.46 = $7440. I have the...

    Synthetic leveraging using options

Hey I just figured out how to use the truncated quote feature! Sry that was a typo. July 10 was the date I was getting the forecast for, July12 was the expiry. What deltas are the calls at typically? AND this is when you want to go long because calls are cheap lol. I am quite aware of how btc...

Why Bitcoin when you have gold?

I'm not going to read all of this. Gold is absolutely useless for anything other than jewelry at this point. What is being discussed can be done with Bitcoin. I think on crypto.com you can get a Bitcoin credit card that will deduct purchases from your crypto assets.

    Synthetic leveraging using options

OK so if we look at BITX trading @ 28.45 With an expected move is $3 to 31.45 by Jul10 you would gain $2.55 per share. 600 shares = $1530 Capital = $17,070 (Jun12 expiry) Buying calls 6 31 calls Cost = -$720 Profits = -$60 Result: Dumpster fire Buying calls 6 28 calls Cost = -$960...

Do you guys ever get tired of me being right?

You can lose $100,000 running a company and so you not only lose $100,000. You also had to work the whole year just to lose the money. With stocks if lose the money all you had to do is press a button. I don't know about you, but if I was going to lose 100k over the year, I'd rather do it binge...

Like he's one to talk. Did you ever watch that video on him like from the 80s? Also, I believe he uses Elliott wave, so what's your point? :) By the way, my desire wasn't to be proven correct. I have already been proven correct. I just want my kudos!

is there ever a good time to average down?

I just posted my performance results. Who cares how you get there? I don't trade like you guys where you hope to have 1% more winners and losers garbage. I trade to make money.

is there ever a good time to average down?

It's counterproductive. It just means you didn't load up at the bottom. Why would you buy higher when you could buy lower? Stop drinking the Kool-Aid being fed to you from big money.

is there ever a good time to average down?

How are you multiplying profits when you are raising your avg price? lol Obviously the skill is not to buy at the top and start averaging down from there, but even then averaging down is better than closing the position or just holding. I already proved this with data using SPY...it's not even...

Yeah sometimes it takes a little longer. It's overdue for sure...all charting is dynamic. That's why you guys lose money...you're "trading systems" are too rigid...you don't have any patience. :) Also, why are we trying to deflect from my awesomeness on the original screenshot of Bitcoin...

None of that matters. Low 50ks were called 3 months ago. News doesn't affect anything. It just confirms what was already projected. Here's the proof!
