Does T3 ever provide capital, or just better leverage? I don't use more than 5x anyway.

I'm going to say one more thing about joining a prop firm. Your pay out, your fees, your commissions, your leverage etc, is not everything. Examine the deal they offer, but focus on the people you will have to work with. Make sure you trust trust them. Make sure they are people you want to...

Does T3 ever provide capital, or just better leverage? I don't use more than 5x anyway.

As a member, you get an account to trade in, but it is not your account. You are trading firm capital with your money as first loss. This is an important regulatory distinction. I want to make it clear I'm not bashing T3 or any other non-traditional prop firm. I'm just trying to provide details...

As a member of the t3 group, they use your capital + their capital + other member's capital to provide leverage. This is way all 1st loss JBO prop firms work.

US National Debt Does Not Matter?

Yes it matters. Running an enormous Deficit that we cannot pay is saying it’s OK for our children, and our children’s children to pay for our way of life today. We should pay our own way. During the good times we should pay down debt and during difficult times we should run deficits.

Behavior of Index and Stock curves

Skew shape tends to tilt up and down a little based on market conditions, but it would be rare to flatten or reverse when it comes to indexes that represent baskets. In general, stock index 25 delta puts will always be materially higher than the 25 delta call. The VIX OTM put will be materially...

Questions about options price, liquidity , open interest et

How to hedge call side on Strangle?

You are asking me using the term "viable." I can't answer that as the end results are unknown. The reality is that in my opinion, I find that does not work well for me. My rules, that I would set for me with naked shorts, is to cover when a certain adverse event occurs and move on. I would...

How to close a credit spread

If you want to stay at IB as your clearing firm, and want LVX, that would require a new IB account with Lightspeed as your broker. If you just want to add Silexx to your IB account, you contract with CBOE Silexx directly. If you would like to move your trading to Wedbush Securities with...
