Withholding tax on US dvidends (WHT) - Delaware corporates

A Delaware entity with a legal US address and IRS EIN# would file a W-9. If you file the W8BEN because the W-9 does not fit under the instuctions in the W-9, you will be subject to withholding. Please consult the instructions to decide what is correct. I can't decide this for you...

Withholding tax on US dvidends (WHT) - Delaware corporates

I'm not sure what WHT is. I 'm familiar with the term "NRA withholding" for those that file a W8BEN or W8BENE etc. If your Delaware entity files a W9 with a valid IRS EIN and current US address, we do not have any withholding. It is my expectation that the owners of the entity will have to pay a...

Equity Market Structure 2019: Looking Back & Moving Forward

Market data costs are a big deal. I would like to see the SEC and FINRA be the one to determine the definition of what a professional user is and not the NYSE/NASDAQ. I'd also like them to provide more exemptions for those high non-display fees. A sole member LLC with $50,000 and an open API...

    es options

I did not say it was in your best interest to hold the call until expiration, you did. You should exit when you thing the risk-reward is no longer working for you. And, if on expire you do not want the future, close or roll your options. FYI-every option on future is different, You need to...

Happiest memory (thus far) of trading?

They were a small number of floor traders that backed a large group of traders and trained them. I refer to them as the Bridge group because they were all top Bridge players. They would but together a small group of investors to back these guys. I only invested that way twice. As for floor...

Happiest memory (thus far) of trading?

My happiest trading memories are from the friendships on the trading floor (AMEX) and the days I lost money, almost went out of business, but had the ability to recover and stay in business.

How did this happen ? Partial fill when it should have printed all

NewTraderAdventure, As an x-Market Maker, it does sound odd and makes me wonder how the order was handled. I do disagree with ajacobson that your broker "owes you a fill". They owe you an explanation. Option orders are typically sent to a Designated Market Maker (DMM) at an exchange. With 15...

    Equity with Loan Value

Options must be fully paid for and are not marginable. The debit balance has to be paid for and the credit balance can be used to offset the debit balance from long stock and other long options.
