I read Kathy Lien's book, which had about 5 set-ups in it. All seemed flawed to me. If K Lien was a great trader, why does she work for FXCM and not just trade her own cash?

I agree with you. I have just gone short at 0.741 It looks like a double top at 0.7484 to me, with the next target 0.736 the next target. The fall in commodities supporrs the bearish view.

Cosed all out for 1.2020 for lack of follow through. Am looking to short anywhere near the 1.2080 level, which is cast-iron resistance - cant see that going on the 1st attempt.

I think the retracement was just a bounce off the psychological 1.2000 level, it must retrace there again, i think. Am looking at the GBP/USD, a 15min close below 1.7530 negates the recent upmove.

Short at 1.2050 Doesnt seem to be a lot of follow through here, on the long side. Also, bearish divergance on the hourlies.

There was one guy who took 8k and turned into 60k in a month. Its good to see the different styles though. I have quadrupled a demo in a month, but think i just got the direction right on the trades. In a ranging environment i would have been turned over.

I dont think its worth shorting. BOJ wont raise rates imminanetly so 117 here we come.

You have to say: 1. Massive dollar weakness today 2. Multi hear highs on gold Yet USD/CAD, despite 14 year lows, just creeps lower. At somepoint it will bounce to the 1.15 handle again.

Good Ivanovich. I thought it would bounce at 1.13. However commodity support + dollar weakness should prevent too large a bounce.

I personally think it is possible, but you would have to have: 1. 50 compounded winners 2. Each trade must be profitable to the tune of 30pips 3. You must use 50% of your account on every trade. Assume you use a 10% of total margin you would need about 235 compounded winners of 30pips...

I just had a limit order in there, as it was waning. But lows have been taken out since. Might hit 1.13 today, but staying out for now.

Closed my 1.136 short today at 1.1335, seems soggy here. I think it will bounce upto 1.14 from here
