I would never trade a system myself that only works on one (currency) market and not on other currency futures. Ideally, it works not only with currencies but also in other markets (meats, metals, energy etc.) - maybe you have to change a few parameters but the basic idea should still work.

Rarely seen anybody (since stock_trad3r) make such a fool out of himself here on the board.

ROFL I'm a systematic trader you piker. At random times I will always be long or short before news releases. I am always in the market and hold positions overnight. When was the last time you had a losing trade? Oh wait a second .. you don't trade real money.

I think it's always a good idea to wait for a pullback because you can evaluate how the stock and the volume behave on falling prices. If volume is low and there is a constant bid even on falling prices I'd say that's a strong indication that it's just a minor pullback. If you buy into...

I just downloaded yesterday's activity statement Excel and the avg. price reported there is CORRECT. Whew. In TWS, it now displays an avg. price of 1418 which is 'better' than the price displayed yesterday but still wrong. I guess I will just disregard it, the backend calculating the Excel...

Nah I won't run from IB. They're too good as a broker especially with the breadth of products they offer. There's no competition in my account size other than big boy prime brokerage which I am too small for most likely. I'll report back with how this (hopefully) resolved tomorrow.

Talked to IB. They said the avg. prices are possibly reportly 'wrong' so we should disregard them today and 'check back tomorrow' (after their nightly server reboot). Will see tomorrow then.
