you are right. and I would also say this to you: if you are going for such a huge compounded return, then these drawdowns you're going through are really not so bad. think back to when the turtles were compounding at these crazy rates in the 1970s and 1980s: they had drawdowns, too. but...

yeah, it's looking like today might be a green one despite the $1200 swing earlier - which means today should have been a much much better day. re: your question... i'd be saving $$$ so you can trade stocks, not futures. but, if you must do futures, i would minimize trades and try to...

This morning, I neglected to check order entries. I was in a hurry to get a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Like clockwork, my system worked - but it worked against me b/c I didn't reverse the trade as I should have. $1200 vanished while I drank the most costly iced coffee of my life. Idiot.

Long term moving avg trading systems have performed good enough when compared to other loing term things like buy and hold. Moving avg systems are not always right. So what. For big piles of money concerned with risk they're solid and easy to implement.
