My experience is not the same. Those that do not offer a laundry list on the website provide a service that needs to be customized to each client and can't be represented in the way you want.
At Lightspeed we do, but for institutional accounts I have room to negotiate.

Lime only offer services to broker dealer and institutional type clients. That business is not the same for each client as they offer ultra-low latency DMA in a hosted...
Goldman Sachs, UBS etc provide a different level of support and product mix. There are also a better custodian for $500mm+. Your needs are met with a platfrom and rates, a hedge fund cares about more.
A few reasons I can think of to Prime at IB but execute at another broker:
You only want to custody and clear at IB for whatever reason but need:
to get access to a trading desk or floor broker.
to get access to a low latency hosted environment.
to give commissions to another broker to get...
In my experiance, it is very hard to make money in the first 2 min. Many traders play breakouts, it jumps, then dips to the old break out point, maybe a little below, and all the day traders stop out, then 30 min later, we are higher.
If it helps you to separate these strategies, we can offer Master/Sub accounts to US based clients. The Master account holds cash and you can have two trading account - one for each strategy. The advantage of this set up is they share margin and you get one monthly statement and one 1099. Yet...
I can't speak for TD, but at Lightspeed we can offer foreign accounts and there is no restriction I'm aware of for those from New Zealand. We offer only US Listed Equities/Options/Futures.
At traditional prop firm, you get a salary vs P/L with a W2. You're an employee.
At a JBO prop firm with your money as first loss, you are a partner and get no salary and get paid with a K1. This is closer to self employment, because if you make no money trading, you get no pay.
" This broker allows arbitrage trading, with agreement to their LP's.". Are you trading in their Limited Partnership account or in a customer account in your name?
Sounds like you have an allaoction to a hedge fund vs a customer account. Either way, the transfer of funds to another account by trading is not legal and should be avoided.
Is that a regulatory rule in the country where you trade, that you can't take out your money when you want from a customer account, or is this a prop firm?
Knowledge is always good. I was not commenting on your post. What I run across are those that do not care about how options are valued and how they change over time and the other side where the trader/manager needs to know everything. EVERYTHING!
There was one guy in particular, no names. He...
I agree. As a small local market maker, I liked to have most of my risk on one greek at a time, where I thought the edge was. Most of the time, that was Vega. There was always supply in the back months and often demand in the front. It was often not up to me what my positions looked like, as we...
I hope you can find a way to make consistent profits with all this extensive knowledge. I find for the average trader, this is making the business if trading overly complicated. I have been on the side of the business since 2011. I have noticed consistently over time, that simple strategies...
No. There are no guarantees for this. You are always subject to market conditions. I will say that we offer RealTick with server side conditional orders. Server side executions are faster than local on your platform. Not a guarantee of getting your price...
