    Writing options for a living

Nobody makes 5-10% a month (>80% annualized) without taking on MASSIVE risk, even if its the rare fat tail risk of completely blowing out the account overnight. And please stop telling people they have learning to do just because they're not subscribing to risk free profit/free lunch...

If you could make money in 2007, then you can handle any market conditions?

Everybody is a millionaire around here. Nobody here ever gets whipsawed and gets stops knocked out by wild price swings. My absolute favorite BS line here on ET is "If you can't make money in this volatility you can as well stop trading".

    Biggest bubble of all time

Just my 2 cents: The last 100 years of investing history was full of bubbles in different markets (real estate, gold, oil&gas, stocks) or equity sectors (tech, biotech, coal etc. etc.) or investment strategies (private equity, "absolute return" bond strategies etc.) Is today any different...

    Loss of IB Security Device?

Anything can happen. I guess all customers of IB and any other broker should ponder the question whether they are overall safer WITH or WITHOUT a security PIN device.

    Loss of IB Security Device?

They will ask stuff like DOB, Address, Place of Birth etc. Anything that was submitted in the account opening. Once verified, they will only ship the device to the address listed on the account. Pretty safe if you ask me unless you have somebody in your household/office you can't trust.

    Loss of IB Security Device?

They will ask you a series of security questions on the phone and then issue you a PIN that will be good for 5 days. During those 5 days you will receive a new device via FEDEX. If for some reason your shipment doesn't reach you within 5 days you can receive another 5 day PIN by just calling...
