I'm not sure I understand you here. Wasn't this a losing trade? Or are you using it as an example that although Ammo averages down he is also able to realize when averaging is not going to help him and simply cuts his losses?

I can choose from 100 numbers. If I choose 1 or 100 as one of the numbers, obviously I'm not going to reveal it to you, which means I will reveal to you two of 98 numbers. However, once I've revealed any number between 2 and 99 the chances of the other number being higher or lower are pretty...

OK, thanks Mr. Bochin. I waited for a pop to .35 after the HOD at 11:00 EST, but didn't get a chance. Was looking to short on that approach to .48, but I thought price was too close to the HOD not to try a little pop, so... Good luck & skill with your trade.

I know. Earl will be touching the East Coast over Labor weekend => cutting down gas demand. Fiona is a non-factor. We got a new storm that for the moment seems headed straight into the Gulf, although it's too soon to tell. Yes, I know, it's all in the damn bars. (Welcome on board...

Let's see after the ISM, but as Volente mentioned we have a gap below at 1048. While it seems a bit far away for me, I don't see us moving decidedly higher without filling it (today, tomorrow or after the long weekend). Filling at 67 and then going back all the way to 48 would be interesting...

GG, Most newbies in these forums come here with an attitude and an expectation of being spoon-fed. Most disappear in the ether (with their accounts). A few realize that there is no free lunch and change. You, on the other hand, come here, ask, listen, study and put in the work from the...

5 yr? 10, 30? All? Why now? If you're bearish the stock market, shouldn't the treasuries hold for a while longer? I'm looking to short the 5yr for a swing position.
