    It's probably the same or maybe slightly better. I have traded it in the past. But i feel more familiar with NYMEX so I am sticking to that one. Also Brent has slightly annoying (London) times as to when it opens and closes. Note that Brent is THE world benchmark for oil price discovery, not WTI.

    No, i was fortunate in that i had a tight stop and was taken out after the first plane hit. The market, after stopping me out actually went back up a bit and then suddenly smashed down after the 2nd plane hit. If i had a larger stop in that particular case, i would have had huge slippage, or...

    Use no leverage on overnight positions. I don't. Btw, that's still no guarantee than you will not be blown out (eg short some stock which then more than doubles overnight because of a takeover). I note that you are asking about overnight gaps. What about during the day? I had LONG positions...

    Trade 1 contract for a week and see if you experience slippage on stops on that.

    I don't trade 30-70 contracts so i can't say. I can certainly tell you i've had slippage of 10 ticks on a LOT less than 30 contracts in RTH.
