Got it. I have dealt with a large number of naked option sellers over the years including raising money for a CTA that does that. The single most important part of it is the plan when it does not work. You say that you do not sell naked, so that changes the post.

I agree with SimpleMeLike. I do think that anyone that pays for a mentoring program or course can't expect to just copy what they are taught. The point should be to learn a process. Take from it what works for you and learn from there forward.

In general for day trading, I'd look toward options that are about a week out, as they are often more liquid with tighter markets than 30 days.

If you get a fill at 9:30:01 at 1.10 on q buy order and another option exchange does not open until 9:30:01 too, the exchange you sent your order to does not know that the other exchange had a customer or MM offer at 1.07. Equity markets have a primary. Option market do not.
