my point is this: aside from the so called "paper work",how is a firm more at risk by writing a weekly check if the trader only takes out profits but always leaves in his initial deposit amount? i do not understand the risk part..whats the difference?

another reason you should DEMAND that you get paid more frequently is to protect yourself,suppose the firm goes under...at least you are taking some money out.everyone should DEMAND that they get paid more frequently or move to another firm. as i said,there is no additional risk to the firm...

you are right,i started the thread in a way that seemed to point to a problem at chimera..that was unfair and should'nt have started the thread like that..the reason i said that about chimera is because as i said,the 2 LLC's i traded with always let us take our profits and these guys came from...
