More people walking away from their homes and moving into mobile motor vehicles :D

I'm Shorting Crude NOW. I've been waiting for this moment, for all my life....

What about deep in the money USO puts.

    Sad Reality

I don't attack people though. I disagree with certain opinions, statements or analysis. But I try to refrain from attacking people or calling them names. Big difference IMO. Good trading all.

I'm Shorting Crude NOW. I've been waiting for this moment, for all my life....

Did you check real estate prices in France? Russians have driven prices to insane levels at the Côte d'Azur, with crude rising I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep buying up the entire country.

    Sad Reality

I will hold the little net long exposure I have over the next 12 months, not necessarily the same names. I trade in and out of stocks long and short all the time. Not sure why you think of me when you watch CNBC but I'm doing fine, thank you.

Anybody in on the dry bulk shipping action? (DRYS)

Dumped DRYS and FRO at a loss. New long DSX.

Study: Gas will soon be at $10/gallon

Lots of negative subsidies (mineral oil taxes) in Europe and still no riots. And to all those pointing out the differences in infrastructure, geographical composition and public transport. Who says the US can't evolve? If there is one single flexible and transformable economy in the entire...

    Non-Farm Payrolls

2year & 10year bond futures is my best guess on a big surprise in either direction. Maybe JPY & CHF on a negative surprise.

Run the stock indexes up, oil will follow

Who needs to grow up? Didn't you start with the name calling? Wasn't it you who ran their mouth?

Dennis Gartman predicts massive waves of selling in commodities

This is exactly what most here don't get. If there is no viable substitute and switching costs are high (as with crude oil) then prices can explode on the slightest upside variation in demand.

You call me out and now all of a sudden you can't be bothered. Why am I not surprised, after all this is ET.

Run the stock indexes up, oil will follow

Why don't we both post blotters and see whos the real 'papertrader' and who has 'money in the markets'.

National City Under Regulatory Scrutiny : Short @ Will

Translation from ET lingo: "Short at will" = "Time to cover your shorts".

Run the stock indexes up, oil will follow

Can you explain how we will have 'hyperinflation' in the US with minimal increases in unit labor cost and basically nil wage inflation? Two thirds of the final costs of all US products and services are determined by wage costs. As it stands, Europe is closer to an inflationary problem than...

ABK and MBI out of business

Only if its bankruptcy can cause a financial meltdown/chainreaction due to counterparty risk. LEH would be a candidate. MBI/ABK disappearing is pretty much a concensus for months now. No bailout because it has little real life impact on the overall health of the global financial system at...

    Jim Rogers on the Markets

I don't doubt he had many great calls. I just think that buying a sector that is a in a downturn, taking a 50% hit on it, adding more to losing positions and THEN declaring "OK NOW THE BOTTOM IS IN GUYS" makes him look very good at this point. But then again, things can look a lot different...

Hasn't he been long airline stocks for like 1-2 years now? Oh the pain.
