    Dumb questions on Eurodollars..

CD....the ED prices the interest into the future contract. Over time that interest is synthetically getting paid through the future. Remember, ED are simply debt instruments that are discounted to the present value. Over time that discount converges to par. Another way to look at it, you...

    The ACD Method

Since I've been away for a few weeks I'm going to put together a post tonight on how one should separate market fundamentals with ACD and how in my opinion one should use fundamental information with ACD. It's an important topic and one that I think causes great confusion for traders in general.

    The ACD Method

Well, I have them all on one grid. I would think it would be rather messy to have 4 or 5 different A levels up and down all on one chart over lapping each other. The grip approach is much nicer in my opinion. I have a grid that shows the intra-day, weekly, monthly and QTR levels all on one...

TOS is easy. Just setup a panel with the number of time frames you want to view. Then inside each of those panels you set your own time frame (5 min, hourly, daily, etc). The panel is that square tick tack toe looking box in the upper right hand corner.

That is kind of surprising actually. Being that he had such a long term view and was playing the far end of the curve. But maybe China changed his mind. If demand softens too much in China I honestly think oil can get down to 25.

    The ACD Method

I will say this, anyone who is trading oil now needs to be very careful. Every new low will get 3 hours of additional coverage on CNBC and the press and the product is going to get very messy. Just a warning. I would probably steer clear for now. I imagine this is getting a lot of...

Yeah if we are still confirmed on the 30 day and we have an active QTR A down, the monthly failure means little to me other then it's offering a juicy bounce to sell into.

    The ACD Method

Yeah I'm sure flat price number line is still deeply negative. We're going into the 30's. Plus we still have a solid QTR A down in flat price to work with.

I miss you guys. I'm sitting in the nicest public library in the world in London to catch up on my charts. I'll be back soon.... :) In the meantime, it would be helpful if everyone posted a nice little interesting tidbit of some interesting price action while I was away.

    The ACD Method

I think most here are swing traders. It would be interesting to take a poll. I actually think intra-day OR are the toughest and I personally use a floating for intra-day. But for swing trading the key is to use a "significant" and meaningful time period where "new" money flows come into the...
