This continued consolidation is not positive for shorts.

I put my stop one tick under/over my entry pivot,

They look cool and clean. I tried to use them as a trailing device but was never able to find them useful. They are slow on the draw in that they can be very late in describing price behavior. Good luck, we all experience different things in the markets, maybe you can find success with them.

One rope is the close is on the quarter hour

People write placebo effect off as a nothing burger but the mind runs the show. If it believes the body is healing, odds shift to healing, if it believes it is getting sicker, odds shift that way.

No just three time frames and sometimes one is signaling a short and one a long. The momentum dynamics determine whether I go one way or the other...or if not clear, sit it out.

I just take my signals and observe my rules :D took a ten tick long at 12:29 EST and another at 12:59, passed on the next one at 2:08 due to time frame conflict but momentum was strongly up and was too conservative.
